Joule L’Adara, MFA, is an experimental vocalist, holistic vocal coach, and sound practitioner based in New York City. She is the founder of The Sounding Group, offering sound-based wellness practices for the workplace and for individual transformational development. She has worked with global companies including Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill LLP, WeWork Wellness, and Planned Parenthood, as well as training sound healing practitioners through live workshops, retreats, and an online certificate course. Her voice programs have been featured at the New York Open Center, Integral Yoga Institute,The Green Spa, Naturopathica Spa, The Dorot Institute, New York City’s Community Healthcare Network, The WOOM Center, The Samadhi Center for Yoga and Meditation in Denver, The Globe Institute in San Francisco, Community Arts Partnership (CAP) Program in Los Angeles, and at Kalani Oceanside Retreat in Hawaii. As a professional singer who has performed with The Metropolitan Opera and in Carnegie Hall, Joule is now also Artistic Director of the Guided Imagery Opera: a classical vocal ensemble that performs experimental music-theater works incorporating elements of sound therapy and the Bonney Method of Guided Imagery and Music.
